Replacing yourself is something that a lot of people in the church world are not good at. I’m not sure if it’s because of insecurities, bad learning environment, etc. If we are in leadership it’s important that we are always working hard to train up leaders to take our spot. Meet Brandon and Adrienne. They “replaced” me this week and did it real well. I was so proud of the team this weekend. You could tell that they were sincere in their worship. Their passion was contagious from the stage. I really enjoyed standing in the back and engaging in worship.

How are you replacing yourself? If you were to cease to exist, what condition would things be left? Obviously there would and should be a huge hole but could that hole be easily filled with people who’ve been well trained?
