This is probably the most enjoyable Christmas Jamie and I have had thus far. The girls are getting old enough to really get into it. Tonight, Gracie and I were peeking out the window before she went to bed looking for Santa. This is the first year that I’ve had to sneak off and assemble toys. The girls got bikes this year. Emory’s is more of a push bike but she’ll love it. When I opened the box to the bike I was real nervous. Those of you who know me well know that I’m not at all the handy man. I dived into it though and not long after I had assembled a beautiful princess bicycle.

Now I will go and put everything by the tree. I probably won’t sleep tonight, just as anxious as when I was a kid, waiting to watch the expression on their faces when they get up.
